3. **Begin Claying**:- Attach the clay pad to a machine polisher (dual-action or rotary polisher).

  - Start the polisher at a low speed setting to spread the lubricant and clay evenly on the pad.

4. **Claying Process**:- Glide the clay pad over a small section of the vehicle in overlapping passes.

  - Apply gentle pressure to ensure the clay pad effectively captures and removes contaminants from the surface. Avoid using excessive pressure to prevent marring the paint.

5. **Check for Smoothness**:- As you clay, you should feel the surface becoming smoother as the contaminants are lifted off.

6. **Wipe Off Residue**:- Use a clean microfiber towel to wipe off any residue left behind by the clay pad.

7. **Repeat the Process**:- Continue claying the vehicle section by section until the entire surface has been treated.

8. **Inspect the Surface**:- After claying, inspect the surface to ensure it is smooth and free of contaminants.

9. **Final Steps**:- Wash the vehicle again to remove any remaining clay residue and lubricant.

  - Follow up with polishing, waxing, or other protective treatments as desired.
